i would have blogged...

But blogger is being shit. I want to blog about loads of stuff but every time i try it goes so slow and my computer is shit too so this is annoying, and i do not have to time or patience. I will upload pictures on my facebook instead. But I have to do this later as I left my computer in Elsa's room and we got back from Sunne first, so she is not back yet. Now I am going to practice.

James has gone, so it's shitty, and everyone else seems to be out. Mr Badger (my favourite teacher in the world) emailed me to say well done, but i need to email him back to see if there's anything i can do to get an A, i'm only 14 marks off, which is nothing but annoying. Just had a massive chat with Cath too and we need to ring teachers for advice on university and whatevers, it's a big poo. I have loads to do today, as tomorrow is my last day here and I need to start by putting 'make some sort of list of stuff to take' on my to do list, which i still need to do.

We've aquired a pigeon called John or Mr Nadim or something. He's from Wirksworth and should be getting picked up by a pigeon man later. Marit is back which means mandola is back for me to play (my fingers are like rock at the moment) and crisps will be eaten.

Back home again with 1 week to go...

Feeling I should update this, and ending up moping around all day eating and drinking tea so it's now about half 11 and I can finally be arsed (well not really). Got back from Sidmouth yesterday, happy days :) was 'mazing, glad I went, and although it's the last english festival i'll be at this year, it's ok because people are coming here on tuesday to keep me happy for a few days before it really is it. (Sweden is a week tomorrow) eeeek. And another thing...A level results on thursday. Shit the vicar. But what can you do. I stopped worrying a while ago now...and i've had such a good summer! I'll be back in october though, most likely as i'll miss people loads! :(

Sidmouth was a bit grey cold and misty at first (and a bit of a bastard to get to), but then the sun came out and we even went swimming in the sea which was nice. The rest of the time was mainly spent in pubs and a cheap cafe we found with nice curry sauce. Saw Karine Polwart in the sunny sun which was a highlight. Got a braid in my hair. Saw loads of lovely people I hadn't seen in a while. Had a good journey back to Sheffield with Jack, very glad he was with me or I would have gone insane...

Well, I'm reeeally lazy so I havn't updated my blog yet, and havn't been that busy either. In fact the only time I went somewhere was to the vintage fair (which was pretty crap) and the showroom on weds, and the doctors yesterday (i have a bad shoulder). Yesterday consisted of me and Marit watching 'the 40 year old virgin' (shit film, someone bought it for me 2 years ago and i'd not watched it yet), eating pizza and malteasers, and me feeling sad. Lazy lazy days.

I was mainly feeling sad about the fact I can't get to sidmouth, after many possibilities that I might, but it was all a bit short notice and getting a ticket didn't work out so i'm not going to see certain people for a very long time :(. I was also feeling sad because I've done something to my shoulder (I think too much trying out everybody's instruments) and it hurt, but it's much better now.
So, i'm gutted about sidmouth which coincides with all these doubts i'm having about Sweden next year, i'm not looking forward to it as much as I was. I think this is because i've been spending time with alot of my favourite people who I don't see alot of in the year usually (bloody A levels etc), and i'm missing festivals here (like Whitby for the first time ever), so i'm going away before all the summer fun has ended, and also i'm choosing to go away when I could stay here and spend more time with them all in the year, for a change. But I keep forgetting that i'm not gone forever, and they'll all be here when I get back, and i'll make loads of new friends and fun in Sweden. But hmph.

So it's Rowan's birthday today, and we all ate strawberry cake. She got kenwood wizzy stirring cake things (which i've always wanted, we used to have some but Cath gave them to Sally I think..), loads of stationary and soap from me and BAGPIPES. She's playing them in the kitchen at the moment. (wheeeey!) I think we're going for lunch in a bit, then party tomorrow, and it's also my friend Molly's birthday so i'll venture out tonight though I don't really feel like hitting any club.

Next week I think i'll go up to Scotland instead as Rowan and Marit are going to be there and i'm not at sidmouth, and i've not really been there this summer (which I was missing aswell). Should be fun. Then I think a trip to Newcastle is planned, to see the new house and visit people before I leave :( . Lucy WALKER. I must try and see her.

I need to upload all these photos from Germany and Warwick (well there aren't many from Warwick, I was too busy having too much fun), but I can't be arsed. My camera is all the way downstairs and I need to tidy my room and unpack (atrocious that I havn't done it yet). So blah blah blah this is a boring blog x
